A beautiful medieval town with a fantastic selection of shops, eating places, museums, cycling, walks, beaches, dolphin boat trips, a ferry over the Cromarty firth and lots more.
The Cromarty Firth has one of the largest bottle nose dolphin colonies in Europe. There are good viewing points from the shore in Cromarty and along the Black Isle to see them from and dolphin trips are also available from the harbour.

Things to do
Cromarty is a very special place with so much going on in the area; cycling, local cinema, mountain biking, walking, boat trips, dolphin watching and a monthly community market are just a few of the activities on offer. Cycling tours can be arranged with advice given in suitable routes and we can also arrange fishing and kayaking.
