Cromarty is a beautiful medieval town with a fantastic selection of independent shops, eating places, museums, our little community cinema, cycling, walks, beaches, dolphin boat trips, a monthly market, a summertime ferry north, film and writing festivals and lots of history

The Cromarty Firth has one of the largest bottle nose dolphin colonies in Europe with good viewing points from the shore in Cromarty. Lots of other wildlife can be seen on land and sea with minke and pilot whales quite often spotted during summer months along with porpoise, common and harbour seals and mackerel, salmon and sprats.

In the garden you could spot early morning deer and maybe the more elusive pine marten, barn owls, badger and a hedgehog.
